An intimate gathering of the most passionate artists from around the world. This event is invite-only and is designed for artists who appreciate tough love. Participating artists will be pushed to become their brightest, boldest selves. ​​​

Thoughtfully curated technique, style, and improv research classes will be taught by our wide variety of professional educators. No formal schedule will be released to participating artists. With the unknown comes an extra layer of excitement and confidence-building, as true artists are always ready for anything.

The intensive is hosted at DANCE COLONY Studios (4222 N. Ravenswood Ave.) in Chicago, IL.
​FLYING IN?
Chicago has two major airports, both of which are less than 15 miles from the studio: Midway International Airport (MDW) and O'Hare International Airport (ORD).
​
LODGING
There are a handful of hotels near the studio, including The Guest House, Hotel Zachary, and Chicago Hotel - Wrigleyville. Airbnb is a great option if you'd like to share housing with multiple participants. There are many homes within walking distance of the studio. We will make a BAND Page for you to connect with other families about sharing housing.

The studio is conveniently located off the Montrose Brown, making it easy to stay downtown and enjoy the city. This train line is very easy to navigate and a clean, simple way to commute to the studio. Check out this list of Airbnbs in the area and along the brown line. One-on-One Training
Artists have the opportunity to train one-on-one with our distinguished faculty. Whether you want to tune up your solo performance for competition season, work on the clarity of your technique, or explore depth of your artistry, our leaders are ready to help you get there.

Headshots & Movement Photos
Update your portfolio with new headshots and movement shots. In past years, we've had a multitude of professionals join our camera crew, including Obinna Oneyka and Hannah Mayfield. This season, we are bringing in a Chicago star for photography sessions. Look out for the announcement soon!
Solo Showdown
Gear up for Nationals by partaking in the solo showdown. Artists have the opportunity to perform their solos and receive live, professional feedback from our panel of judges. The top three soloists will earn a cash prize!
